Hi, I’m Alicia.

I love that you’ve come this far on my website to get to know a little bit about me. So thank you for being here!

I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. I grew up always loving anything to do with art! It was by far my favorite class at any point as an adolescent. Although, I was not formally introduced to photography until I was in high school, I had discovered my love for film at a young age. (Is anyone else still obsessed with disposable cameras?!) I took an unimaginable amount of photos on any camera I could get my hands on. It was pretty much like magic to me.

Ironically, I didn’t realize that my passion for photography could also translate into becoming a business owner. From taking photography classes in high school and in college, I still associated photography as just fun hobby. Go figure. I went on to graduate from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with my B.S. in Sociology and my minor in English. Shortly after college I also became a licensed Esthetician in the state of Hawaii from the FABULOUS Makana Esthetics & Wellness Academy. 

After working several years as an Esthetician at a medical spa in Honolulu, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my love of photography full time! I'm so happy I made that transition because here I am today, nine years later and I’m still obsessed with what I do!

When I’m not at a shoot, editing or emailing my amazing clients, you can find me with my family and friends. I have two wonderful little boys and a very loving and supportive husband.
