FAQ

What is your cancellation policy?

I kindly ask that if you choose to cancel your session, please notify me within 24 hours of your session date and time. Any deposit that is made will be non-refundable.

Deposits will be considered as an advanced payment that will be applied to your session's total cost.

When we go forward with booking a session, the deposit that is made tells me that you are serious about our time together. That also means that your session time is blocked off in both my business calendar and from my personal life. Not to mention this time is now unavailable for any future client that could have had "your spot" and booked.

I hope any session with a client does not get cancelled but merely rescheduled to another date. I understand life happens, so just communicate with me and we can find a solution that best suits both of us.

What if I need to reschedule my session?

Life doesn't always go as planned and sometimes the weather doesn't work out in our favor. All I ask is that you give me 24-48 hours notice so that we can find another date and time that works for both of us.

What is your editing process?

Your photos will be professionally edited with photography software. My images are captured in a raw color format. After each shoot, I handpick the final selection of images from the session and bring each photo to its full potential. Your photos are an extension of me and I pride myself in delivering quality work, something we can both be proud of.

What should I wear?

This really depends on your style and personality. First and foremost, wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. If you feel uncomfortable in what you're wearing, it will most likely show in the photos. What sort of look are you going for? Do your clothes blend in with the location of your shoot or do you stand out?

I would avoid having multiple patterns of clothing in your session. Too many prints tend to clash and don't always show well together. Finding a color palette that you like is always really useful so that each person in your session compliments the other. If you need any additional advice or tips about clothing and color scheme, please don't hesitate to ask me for help.

Are furry friends allowed?

Furry friends are always welcomed at any session as long as they are friendly and kind. I'm slightly allergic to cats, so if we are doing a session in your home, please notify me in advance so I can prepare myself and wear a mask.

I'm Worried my Kids won't Cooperate

First and foremost, I love children and I have children. So I understand the struggle sometimes that comes with having expectations from your children and it not working out. And trust me I've seen it all, I'm not phased by anything when it comes to a child's behavior at a session whether its good, bad or in different. I will continue to go with the flow.

When I photograph children at any age, I always go into a session with patience and understanding. Not all children like having their photograph taken and that's ok. I will always do my best to get a smile out of them and make them laugh.

I highly suggest prepping your little ones for any upcoming photo session they will be in. Explain to them what will happen, tell them who I am, what I'll be doing, what you all will be doing. Practice smiling for a photo on your phone and show them the picture. Let them take some selfies, allow them to take photos of you. Let this process get silly and have fun! The more they are aware of what will happen, the better the odds of them cooperating during your session. Please have snacks and drinks for them immediately when your session is complete. Taking photos can be exhausting for little ones and food always helps.

What kind of gear do you use?
